The all-wheel steering system can reduce the turn radius from 12.19 meters to 11.19 meters, which is more significant when parking. It is worth mentioning that this technology combines the all-wheel steering system with the Trailer Assist to complete the automatic steering of the trailer.

If the speed is higher than 37 km/h, the steering of the rear and front wheels will remain the same during steering, which will make the operation smoother, especially when driving on rural roads and tracks. This all-wheel steering ensures the stability of the vehicle when the vehicle changes lanes (such as rapid overtaking), as does the sudden evasive maneuvers.

With the new all-wheel brake and air suspension system, automaTIAC adapTIve suspension, height adjustment and electronic damping control can be performed. This feature suite enhances Volkswagen Touareg's flexibility.
