Three-phase four-wire refers to three live wires and one neutral wire. The normal name should be three phase wires and one neutral wire. The voltage between any two live wires is 380 volts each other. The voltage between any live wire and neutral wire is 220 volts.

The lowest line of the three-phase four-wire is the neutral line. In the low-voltage distribution network, the transmission line generally adopts a three-phase four-wire system, of which three lines represent the three phases of A, B, C, and the other is the neutral line N , The colors are respectively expressed as (red, green, yellow, blue) different from the neutral line. In the single-phase transmission line that enters the user, there are two lines, one we call the live line, the other we call the neutral line, and the neutral line is normal Electric current must be passed to form a current loop in a single-phase circuit. In a three-phase system, the three-phase circuit is self-contained. Under normal circumstances, the neutral wire is non-current, which is called a three-phase four-wire system.

Turn over the terminal cover, you can see the wiring diagram of the three-phase four-wire meter. Among them, 1, 4, 7 are connected to the S2 end of the secondary side of the current transformer, that is, the current inlet end;

3, 6, 9 are connected to the S1 end of the secondary side of the current transformer, that is, the current outlet end;

2, 5, 8 are connected to three-phase power supply;

10 and 11 are connected to the zero terminal. For safety, the S2 terminal of the current transformer should be connected and grounded.

Note that the current measurement sampling of each current transformer must be kept in phase with its voltage sampling, that is, 1, 2, and 3 are a group; 4, 5, and 6 are a group; 7, 8, and 9 are a group.

1. Direct access

The following figure shows the direct connection of a three-phase four-wire active meter, the live wires U, V, and W are connected to terminals 1, 4, and 7, respectively, terminals 3, 6, and 9 are connected to the load, the neutral line is connected to the No. 10 terminal, and the No. 11 terminal is connected to the load. another side.

2. Connected via voltage and current transformers

The figure below shows the three-phase four-wire active meter connected through a current transformer, the live wires U, V, and W are respectively connected to the primary end L1 of the current transformer, the primary end L2 is connected to the load, and the watt-hour meter 1, 4, and 7 are connected. Connect the head end K1 of the secondary side of the current transformer respectively, and connect the terminals 3, 6, and 9 to the end K2 of the secondary side respectively. The terminals 2, 5, and 8 of the electric meter are respectively connected to the L1 end of the primary side of the current transformer. The connecting pieces should be removed. To ensure safety, K2 at the secondary side of the current transformer should be grounded separately. The picture on the right is a simulation demonstration of the wiring diagram.
