LED traffic loyalty lights have four major advantages: 1. Longer life than 5 times, reducing maintenance costs, and containing no mercury, more environmentally friendly;

The Energy Bureau said that after fully replacing the LED traffic lights, it can save 247 million kWh per year and reduce CO2 emissions by a total of 155,100 tons. The Energy Bureau also launched a high-efficiency LED streetlight demonstration program in 2009 and 2011, respectively, and is expected to replace 11,350 ç› high-energy and high-pollution mercury street lamps.
The Energy Bureau hopes that through the implementation of the demonstration case, it can not only implement the government's energy conservation measures and reduce government electricity expenses, but also promote the development of the LED industry in Taiwan, to expand domestic demand and drive industrial investment, so that LED lighting application technology will take root in Taiwan. 
[High-tech LED News] Since 2009, the Energy Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan has assisted local governments in replacing the traditional incandescent traffic light with LED traffic lights by project plan. It is scheduled to be completed on September 30 this year. Taiwan’s number of lights will use 100% of the traffic lights.
