The Exposure Draft proposes that from October 1, 2012, the sale and import of incandescent lamps for general lighting of 100 watts and above will be banned; from October 1, 2014, the sale and import of incandescent lamps for general lighting of 60 watts and above will be prohibited. Lamps; in accordance with energy efficiency standards, it is prohibited to produce, sell and import inefficient tungsten halogen lamps with luminous efficacy below the energy efficiency limit; from October 1, 2016, it is prohibited to sell and import incandescent lamps for general lighting of 15 watts or more. Among them, reflective incandescent lamps, spotlights, decorative lamps and other types of incandescent lamps and special-purpose incandescent lamps are not eliminated.

It is reported that the final draft of China's roadmap for eliminating incandescent lamps will be officially released on October 1 this year. The industry believes that the release and phase-by-step implementation of the roadmap for eliminating incandescent lamps in China will bring certain benefits to related companies that produce energy-saving lamps and LED lamps.
