Toyota Synthetic Accuses of Infringement of LED Patents

On the 24th, Toyoda Gosei, a Japanese LED maker, formally filed a counter-infringement complaint against Taiwan's Taoyuan Plant in Taiwan's Taoyuan District Court. Helen said that he did not receive the complaint but was confident that his patent had no problem.

Xu Hongsheng pointed out that Toyota Synthetics appeals to all manufacturers to pay maximum attention when manufacturing, selling, and/or using LED chips and LED-containing products to respect and avoid infringement of related patents on GaN-based light-emitting diodes, so as to create a level playing field. In response to Toyota and Suisaki’s patenting of Umbu in the United States and Taiwan, the spokesperson Fu Zhenzhen stated that the pleading documents have not yet been received and cannot be evaluated.
