Recently, a small solar-inflated lamp appeared in an event called Mpowerd in New York City, USA. Its main role is to meet the demand for lighting equipment in the event of a power outage. In general, people often use flashlights as the primary lighting device after a power outage. However, the light emitted by the flashlight often has only one direction, and the range is relatively small, which cannot fully meet the lighting demand of everyone under the night. Therefore, this solar-inflated lamp called Luci received attention in the Mpowerd event.
Luci's shape is somewhat similar to that of an ancient lantern. It consists of a transparent cylindrical plastic cover and a light source at the bottom. The plastic cover can be freely contracted by deflation. The light source is equipped with 10 energy-saving LED lights and a solar panel that converts solar energy into electricity and uses it for lighting. When the power switch is turned on, the light from the LED is struck on a transparent plastic cover and then spread out over a 360-degree range to create the same effect as ordinary lighting.
It is reported that its brightness level is comparable to that of a 60-watt bulb. The battery needs to absorb solar energy for 6 hours when fully charged, but it can be illuminated for up to 12 hours. In addition, it also provides a mobile phone charging interface and Wi-Fi function, currently priced at around $16.
