In the first half of the year, home appliance retail sales increased by 15.3% year-on-year

According to the data released by the National Bureau of Statistics today, the retail sales of household appliances and audio-visual equipment in China in the first half of the year amounted to 326.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.3%, of which retail sales in June was 57.2 billion yuan, an increase of 11.7% year-on-year.

Data show that in June 2013, China's total retail sales of consumer goods was 188.7 billion yuan, a nominal increase of 13.3% year-on-year (an actual increase of 11.7% after deducting price factors, and the following are nominal growth), which represented a year-on-year increase of 1.26%. Among them, retail sales of household appliances and audio-visual equipment was 57.2 billion yuan, an increase of 11.7% year-on-year; retail sales of communications equipment were 17 billion, an increase of 22.4% over the same period. In the first half of the year, total retail sales of social consumer goods in China stood at 110764 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.7%. Retail sales of household appliances and audio-visual equipment reached 326.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.3%; retail sales of communications equipment products reached 95.3 billion, a year-on-year increase of 14.4 percentage points.

According to the location of the business unit, in June, the retail sales of urban consumer goods was 1,264.5 billion yuan, an increase of 13.0% year-on-year; the retail sales of rural consumer goods were 258.2 billion yuan, an increase of 15.1%. From January to June, the retail sales of consumer goods in urban areas reached 0.9579 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.5%, and the retail sales of rural consumer goods were 1,497.5 billion yuan, an increase of 14.3%.

In retail sales of goods, retail sales of enterprises above designated size (units) were 910 billion yuan, an increase of 12.5%. From January to June, the retail sales of enterprises above designated size (units) was 5150.8 billion yuan, an increase of 11.7%.
