AMD said that the company's expansion in the embedded market has taken a big step forward. Last week, AMD shared a number of Taiwanese manufacturers with a series of embedded designs built with the company's G Series APUs, including the rapidly growing digital signage, re-emphasizing the company's intention to expand into the field of commercial embedded devices.

"Single board computer (SBC), Gaming, digital signage, streamlined terminals, medical and even automotive, in fact, have all adopted AMD's embedded solutions already," said AMD Embedded Solutions Business Unit. Director Michael Greig said.

AMD executives are closely following the principle of not revealing any figures other than financial reports, including information on the G-Series shipments and the market share gained by the embedded market and Intel's recent one-year match. However, AMD is very satisfied with the progress of the embedded market, especially digital kanban, over the past year.

“The digital signage is a very fast-growing market,” Greig said. Although he did not disclose any relevant shipment figures, he said AMD has performed quite well in this area.

AMD's confidence in the embedded market is largely due to the company's power consumption, performance, and advanced display technology for its chips.

"Digital kanbans have very high requirements for video performance and resolution," said Richard Jaenicke, AMD's Embedded Terminal Group. "Our G Series processors can provide low power and high resolution performance beyond Intel, which is the main reason we can quickly adopt them in the embedded market, especially in the digital kanban area."

AMD's G Series is available in 18W and 9W sizes. Jaenicke said that these GPU-integrated APUs can provide smoother video processing performance for embedded applications that require video processing at lower power consumption. In fact, AMD's earlier collaboration with customers included a solution that supported 4K displays.

Currently, iBASE Advantech, AOPEN, DT Research and many Taiwanese embedded device manufacturers have all launched digital kanban solutions using AMD solutions.

For example, PolyScope showcased the ultra-small, fanless digital kanban platform built using AMD's T56N, Windows CE, and a North American software developer Omnivex's software solution. In the live demonstration, these compactly designed platforms are extremely low in temperature and almost noise-free.

AMD said that the company has been working in the field of digital kanban for three years, and now a number of embedded companies have begun to support AMD products, it can be said that 'flowers everywhere'.

Greig said that from operating systems, software, firmware, and debugging tools, AMD's embedded solutions have been supported by many industry partners, including close cooperation with Microsoft, which helps manufacturers quickly develop adaptable market demands. Embedded products.

According to the 2011 annual financial report released last week, last year its total APU shipments exceeded 30 million, and the company said that this achievement has led to revenue from laptop sales, setting a record high.

CT For Relay Protection

Our company`s current transformers have high precision, wide range, small volume and good linearity that can be used to the field of electronic watt-hour meter, electric energy metering, electronic detection.

Performance

●Power frequency insulation strength:The insulation between the primary winding and the secondary winding and the ground part of the CT can bear 4kV power frequency voltage for 1minute

●Interturn insulation strength:The secondary open circuit, the primary winding through the rated current 1min, no inter-turn damage in the transformer

●The deviation is better than the industry standards and national standards
