Zhejiang's first export low-voltage electrical inspection and supervision demonstration area passed inspection and acceptance

After data review and on-the-spot assessment, Jiande City's export low-voltage electrical product inspection and supervision demonstration area passed the acceptance test with the highest score of 97.7 points, becoming the first export low-voltage electrical product supervision and supervision demonstration area in the province. Wu Tiemin, deputy mayor of Jiande City and Tao Baicheng, deputy director of the Hangzhou Bureau, accompanied the assessment.

Since 2008, the Hangzhou Bureau and the Jiande Municipal Government have carried out regionalized management of the export low-voltage electrical appliance industry represented by the export plug and socket industry. Afterwards, they have taken a series of effective measures to upgrade the monitoring area into a demonstration area and achieved remarkable results: It is the local government that has paid great attention to inspection and quarantine work and provided active support and close cooperation. As of September 2011, there are 35 export enterprises in Jiande export low-voltage electrical inspection and supervision zone, including 11 first-class enterprises, 16 second-class enterprises, and 8 third-class enterprises. From January to September this year, companies in the supervision area exported 4,361 batches of low-voltage electrical products, amounting to US$88.4 million, which was an increase of 11.4% and 40.8% year-on-year respectively.

Wu Tiemin, deputy mayor of Jiande City and head of the management leading group of the inspection and supervision zone for export low voltage electrical appliances, first reported on the construction work of the demonstration area. After earnestly listening to the work report, the appraisal team conducted a serious and rigorous assessment of the work done in the demonstration area. After reviewing the documents and documents, they went to Hangzhou Eurasia Electric Tools Co., Ltd., Jiande City Sansen Electric Co., Ltd. and other exports. The company conducts on-the-spot assessments and holds discussions with relevant supervisors of the Jiande Municipal Bureau of Quality Supervision, townships and townships, low-voltage electrical appliance industry associations, etc. to learn more about the construction of inspection and supervision areas and listen carefully to opinions and suggestions from government departments, industry associations, and enterprises. .

At the assessment and acceptance meeting, the assessment team fully affirmed the establishment of the demonstration area, and pointed out in detail some deficiencies found in the assessment. The assessment team also stated in the feedback that the Hangzhou Bureau and the Jiande City Government took advantage of regional management to achieve a number of innovations in the construction of export low-voltage electrical inspection and supervision demonstration areas. This is a beneficial experience in the regionalized management of Zhejiang Province. And innovations are worth promoting and publicizing.

Tao Baicheng, deputy director, addressed the meeting. He pointed out that the next step of the Hangzhou Bureau is to use this assessment as an opportunity to seriously summarize and promote the experience gained in the establishment of the inspection supervision demonstration area, and at the same time, to combine the weaknesses in the regional management work of local governments and related functional departments.
